AC Midtown Atlanta Hotel Staycation

So I wanted to start a new series where I explore and share places in my hometown of Atlanta! I’m calling it the #darlingstaycation series. No-brainer, I know.

I’m kicking off my staycation series with the AC Midtown Atlanta Hotel. The property, along with its sister property, the Moxy, is under the Marriott portfolio and just opened in February. So Hannah and I figured we’d check out and have a fun girls’ weekend.

Our room was so dreamy! We got a nice corner unit on the 15th floor that overlooks Peachtree Street. The spaciousness of the room was surprising but refreshing at the same time. The little nook alongside the windows made the perfect spot for early morning coffee and checking emails.

Before heading out for a stroll in Midtown, we got drinks at the AC Lounge. Sherrie made me a mean berry spritzer. I was pretty content to say the least! The lounge itself is comfortably stylish and swanky. It’s an ideal place to grab a drink if you’re checking in early or before heading out!

The brunch situation at the AC Kitchen was what dreams are made of! On top of the glorious spread we made from the buffet, we order some a la carte plates off the menu. It felt like we were in Europe with all the sweet and savory pastries & tapas we indulged in!
