Galentines’ Staycation at The Glenn Hotel

This year, instead of binge watching rom-coms at home, I decided to celebrate Galentine’s Day with a mini staycation in the city! We built our stay around a Kacey Musgraves concert at State Farm Arena. We wanted to make a full experience out of the concert and were looking for a luxe property that was within walking distance to the venue. Instantly, I thought of the Glenn Hotel! It’s a luxurious, downtown Atlanta landmark that just oozes with decadence and charm. And with that, my girlfriends and I treated ourselves to the ultimate staycation. It was exactly what we needed.

If you’re going to do a Galentine’s staycation, you gotta do it up big and the Glenn Hotel was the perfect setting. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a bottle of champagne! We stayed in a gorgeous Deluxe Double Corner Suite on the highest floor of the hotel that featured stunning views of the downtown Atlanta skyline. The bathroom was luxurious with forest green floral and gilded wallpaper, marble and brass fixtures, and so much natural light! We had a blast getting ready for the concert in our soft bathrobes.

My favorite moment throughout our entire stay, besides the food of course, was having a champagne toast at Glenn’s SkyLounge. With unobstructed 360 degree views of Atlanta, we felt like princesses taking in the beauty of our city! It’s a beautiful rooftop bar and lounge with arguably the best outdoor terrace in all of downtown Atlanta.

I can’t make a post about our staycation without mentioning the incredible food! We enjoyed all of our meals at Glenn’s Kitchen. Everything from breakfast to dinner was to die for! I’m convinced that Glenn’s Kitchen serves the best breakfast granola bowl in the entire world.

If you have the chance to stay at the Glenn Hotel in Atlanta, you absolutely should jump on it! We had such an amazing weekend and are already thinking about booking our next stay in line with upcoming concerts and games at the MBZ stadium. Till next time! xo
